Accessibility Statement
DUX and DUXIANA aim to make this website usable and accessible for as many people as possible regardless of ability. Our accessibility work is guided by relevant accessibility legislation and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We are continually improving the accessibility of our digital services. This statement applies to duxiana.co.uk (a DUXIANA website).
Status
The DUX and DUXIANA websites are currently partially conformant with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard. “Partially conformant” means that while some accessibility requirements are met, not all website content or features fully comply with the standard as yet.
Based on accessibility reviews and ongoing testing, we are aware of the following issues:
- Some decorative images are not marked in a way that allows assistive technologies to ignore them.
- Alternative text for some images is incomplete or could be more descriptive.
- Some video content may not yet provide captions or transcripts.
- Heading levels might not always be used in a consistent hierarchical order across all pages.
- Certain functions may not behave as expected when used with screen readers or other assistive technologies.
- Some layouts or components may not work optimally when text is resized to 200% or more.
We are working to remedy these issues systematically as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the accessibility and usability of our digital experiences, systems, and services.
